Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a clean and efficient working environment while supporting food preparation and service operations. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen and providing excellent service to our guests.

Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Support cooks and chefs in cooking and assembling dishes as needed. Ensure all food handling practices comply with health and safety regulations. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as necessary. Participate in maintaining kitchen equipment by cleaning and performing basic maintenance. Assist in serving food during meal times to ensure timely service.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices. Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure.
