Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in a fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties

Assist with meal preparation and food handling to ensure timely service Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to recipes and standards Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment Support chefs and cooks with basic cooking tasks as needed Handle food safely and follow proper sanitation procedures Organize and store ingredients properly to prevent waste and contamination Assist with catering events and special functions when required Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, or catering environments is preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques, knife skills, and food preparation methods Familiarity with food safety standards and proper handling procedures Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds Culinary experience or background in the food industry is a plus but not mandatory Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to fast-paced kitchen operations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
