We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper to support our culinary team in delivering high-quality food services. The successful candidate will assist with food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and ensure smooth kitchen operations. Duties
Assist with basic food preparation tasks, including chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Support chefs and kitchen staff during cooking processes
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of workstations, utensils, and equipment
Ensure all food safety and hygiene standards are adhered to at all times
Help with the storage of ingredients and supplies in accordance with safety regulations
Support serving staff during meal service as required
Assist in setting up dining areas and clearing after service
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Requirements
Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting is advantageous but not essential
Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques preferred
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a positive attitude
Willingness to learn new skills within a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends and evenings if necessary
