Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces. Help with food handling and storage, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored according to food safety standards. Support cooking staff by preparing ingredients, such as chopping vegetables or measuring ingredients. Participate in serving meals during busy times, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Adhere to all food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Basic cooking skills and knowledge of meal preparation techniques are advantageous. Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain a clean kitchen workspace. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with kitchen staff.
