We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient food preparation process. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen while supporting chefs and other kitchen staff in delivering high-quality meals.

Duties

Assist with meal preparation by washing, chopping, and preparing ingredients for cooking Help with food preparation tasks such as portioning, seasoning, and assembling dishes Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces Support chefs during service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and tools are readily available Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the safe handling of food products Assist in stocking supplies and inventory management as needed Participate in cleaning duties at the end of shifts to maintain a hygienic work environment

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred Knowledge of cooking techniques and meal preparation processes Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards Team player with good communication skills, capable of working collaboratively with kitchen staff A passion for the food industry and eagerness to learn new skills in a culinary setting
