We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will assist in various kitchen tasks, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation. This role is essential in supporting our cooks and chefs in meal preparation and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities
Assist with meal preparation by chopping, slicing, and dicing ingredients as directed by the cook or chef.
Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment.
Ensure proper food handling and storage practices are followed to maintain food safety standards.
Support the cooking staff by preparing ingredients for daily menus and special events.
Assist in inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of low supplies.
Follow all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required.
Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is beneficial.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
