Job Description
Fresh Start Recovery Centre - has an opening for a Kitchen Worker in our Lethbridge locations. The Kitchen Worker will be responsible for food preparation, quality and presentation which meets our standards. Maintain a clean safe working environment as per occupational health & safety standards (e.g., WHIMIS labels, food handling and storage, hygiene etc.). Perform kitchen opening and closing duties as required. Report any concerns, incidents, losses or damages to the Kitchen Manager or the Director of Operations .
The Kitchen Worker should be mature, knowledgeable, and experienced and would benefit from having experience in recovery and having a working knowledge of the disease concept and 12-step programming.
Qualifications:
Basic computer literacy Understanding of safety and appropriate PPE Food Safety certification Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Work independently and in collaboration with others Strong time management Hospitality Experience is required Must be over the age of 18 and eligible to work in Canada
Required at interview
A vulnerable person police check Current First Aid and CPR certification Valid class 5 drivers license Drivers Abstract
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
