Duties

Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste as needed. Assist in food preparation tasks as required, contributing to the overall efficiency of the kitchen. Ensure proper food handling and safety protocols are followed at all times. Help maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours. Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the restaurant or hotel environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a hospitality or food service role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with food preparation techniques and basic cooking skills is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and sanitation. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as necessary.
