Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Kitchen Team Member to join our dynamic food service team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Responsibilities

Assist in meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards Handle food safely and maintain proper hygiene practices in accordance with food safety regulations Support kitchen staff with cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes Ensure all food items are prepared efficiently and accurately to meet customer expectations Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts Follow proper food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safety Assist with inventory management by organizing supplies and notifying management of stock needs Support serving staff as needed during busy service periods

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of cooking techniques, meal preparation, and food safety standards Strong understanding of food handling procedures and sanitation practices Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed Basic knowledge of the food industry standards and customer service principles
