We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Kitchen Cook. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our customers. Your responsibilities will encompass various aspects of food preparation, cooking, and sometimes serving, ensuring that all food safety standards are met while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and banquet areas
Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines during all food handling processes
Assist in meal preparation, including breakfast prep, chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and assembling banquet dishes
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service
Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report any shortages to management
Skills
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred with banquet experience
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent cooking skills with a passion for meal preparation
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers
Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities as needed in the kitchen
