Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production. Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper storage of food items. Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Implement and maintain food safety protocols, ensuring compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with management on menu development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Address any customer feedback or concerns regarding food quality or service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry. Strong knowledge of food handling practices, food safety regulations, and culinary techniques. Experience in restaurant management or team management is preferred. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and management. A passion for culinary arts and commitment to creating exceptional dining experiences.
