Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Kitchen Chef

to join our team. The Kitchen Chef is responsible for preparing hot dishes, managing kitchen operations, and ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth kitchen workflow and delivering excellent dining experiences to our customers.

The ideal candidate has strong cooking skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Teamwork, reliability, and a passion for food are essential.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of Korean/Japanese hot dishes. Manage kitchen prep work: chopping, marinating, boiling, etc. Ensure food is cooked and plated according to restaurant standards Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation at all times Monitor inventory and communicate low stock or supply needs Assist in daily opening, closing, and cleaning duties Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines Work closely with sushi team and service staff to ensure smooth kitchen flow Adapt to changing menus, specials, or customer requests Help train or support junior kitchen staff if needed

Experience

Proven experience as a

kithchen chef or cook

in a busy restaurant Strong knowledge of

kitchen operations

, cooking techniques, and food safety Ability to

lead or support

a kitchen team during service Skilled in

preparing hot dishes

, sauces, soups, and side items Excellent

knife skills

and familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment Strong

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
