Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic part-time Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will support kitchen operations, ensure that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about food and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Assist chefs and cooks in preparing ingredients and cooking meals according to recipes and standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment. Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Support the team during busy service periods by performing various tasks as assigned. Participate in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations for service. Able to lift over 30 lbs.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. A commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety in food handling.
