Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen environment.

Responsibilities:

Take Customers` Orders Assist in food preparation and meal assembly
- Handle food following safety guidelines

Support kitchen staff with catering and restaurant service tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment and utensils

Aid in cooking tasks under the supervision of chefs
- Assist in serving meals to customers or guests

Prepare bowls, sandwiches, salads, smoothies, and coffee from the menu Clean, peel, slice and trim foodstuffs using manual and electric appliances Wash and peel vegetables Portion, assemble and wrap food and organize it in bag Store ingredients and raw materials on proper temperature work tables, cupboard and appliances Remove trash and clean kitchen garbage containers Unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, cupboards and other storage Sweep and mop floors and other duties to assist cook and kitchen staff
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Familiarity with culinary terms and techniques
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knife skills for food preparation
- Strong willingness to learn and help with various kitchen duties

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.60-$17.00 per hour
