We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will work diligently to ensure that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. As a Kitchen Aide, you will work independent to prepare and delivery meals to senior residents, whilst maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Collaborate with your manager to plan menus and develop recipes that meet customer expectations.
Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and place orders as necessary to ensure adequate stock.
Prepare, cook, and serve meals to each of our senior residents whilst ensuring to meet their dietary needs.
Effectively communicate with other staff to ensure each meal is done correctly and on time.
Experience
Able to work independently and run the operations of the kitchen department.
Strong knowledge of food handling practices and culinary techniques.
A background in the care industry is beneficial, showcasing an understanding of our senior clientele.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
