Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant & Dishwasher to join our team. This role is essential in supporting the daily operations of our kitchen, ensuring a clean, organized, and efficient environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and hospitality, with experience in food handling and preparation.

Duties

Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment Assist with minor food preparation and handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures Ensure all kitchen tools and utensils are properly stored and maintained Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a hygienic work environment Support team members in various tasks to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not required Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques Strong attention to detail and organization skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from senior staff

Contract length: 1 month

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 20 per week
