We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Dishwasher and Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. Duties

Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients as directed by the chef or kitchen supervisor. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly. Support cooking staff during meal service by ensuring that all necessary ingredients and utensils are readily available. Follow food safety and hygiene standards to ensure the safe handling of food products. Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages to the kitchen supervisor. Participate in the cleaning of kitchen equipment and appliances to maintain a safe working environment. Assist with serving meals to guests when required, providing excellent customer service.

Skills

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Strong cleaning skills with attention to detail to maintain high standards of hygiene. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is advantageous. Familiarity with food handling practices and safety regulations within the food service industry. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being able to take initiative when necessary. Excellent communication skills to interact positively with kitchen staff and other team members. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional service to guests.
