Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to support our culinary team in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment. This role is vital in ensuring food safety standards are met and that kitchen operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and eager to learn about food preparation and kitchen management. Prior experience is a plus but a positive attitude and willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks are essential.

Locations: Midnapore & Deerfoot (some days in each)

Schedule

- Saturdays: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

- Weekdays: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Responsibilities

Supporting our kitchen team with daily tasks Supporting with dishwashing duties to ensure all cookware, utensils, and dishes are sanitized and ready for use Helping package, label, and organize freshly made products Welcoming customers and offering friendly, attentive service - Attending customers in the front store as needed Keeping the kitchen clean and following food safety practices Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold health standards

Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude Willingness to learn food safety practices and kitchen procedures Prior experience in a kitchen or food service setting is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies Is dependable, positive, and comfortable working both independently and with a small team Can work at both our Midnapore and Deerfoot locations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
