Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will assist in meal preparation, food handling, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.
Responsibilities
- Support the kitchen staff in preparing ingredients for cooking
- Assist in cooking and meal preparation under the supervision of a chef
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Handle food safely and follow proper food handling procedures
- Help with dishwashing and cleaning kitchen equipment
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient kitchen operations
Skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work effectively in a restaurant setting
- Basic cooking skills are a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Good communication skills and a team player mindset
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $17.25-$20.00 per hour
