What We're Looking For:



Kinesiologist



Availability:

You have evening and weekend availability for our Burnaby Heights studio.

Session Leadership:

You're confident leading 30-minute to 1-hour personal training, exercise rehab and aquatic therapy sessions. (we do offer training and ongoing education)

Initial Assessments:

You have experience with client assessments, communicating recommendations, and charting after each session.

Communication:

You're comfortable scheduling sessions, writing treatment plans, and liaising with stakeholders such as claims specialists and health professionals.

Sales:

You're able to promote packages and services to clients and local businesses.

Team Engagement:

You're available for team meetings and in-service training sessions.

How We Work:



One-on-One Sessions:

Kinesiologists provide personalized assessments and treatment sessions for Personal Training, Active Rehab, and Aquatic Therapy clients.

Administrative Tasks:

Scheduling, rebooking, and some billing will be your responsibility, using the Jane app.

Communication:

We chart after every session and keep clients, physiotherapists, and other stakeholders informed.

Learning and Growth:

You'll participate in weekly team meetings, one-on-one mentorship, and quarterly manager check-ins.

Client Relationships:

You'll motivate clients, hold them accountable, and ensure they stick to treatment recommendations.

Studio Maintenance:

Help maintain an upbeat environment with great playlists while keeping the space clean and organized.

Strategically communicating with health professionals and stakeholders. Mastering new skills like aquatic therapy, ergonomic assessments, and leading group workshops. Collaborating with team members to cover leaves or transitions. Building positive client relationships and managing caseloads effectively.

Our Ideal Candidate:



Minimum Qualifications:



Undergraduate or higher degree in kinesiology. 1+ year(s) of experience providing kinesiology services, including personal training and/or rehab. Current standing with the BCAK and professional liability insurance. Standard First Aid certification. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
