Panther Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation has been providing expert care since 1987 and is a leader in the delivery of acute rehabilitation in the Calgary area. We specialize in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports medicine, MVA, and work-related injury rehabilitation offering additional services in spinal rehabilitation, vestibular therapy, massage therapy, acupuncture, intramuscular stimulation (IMS), cranio-sacral therapy, orthotics, and custom braces.



We are looking for a full-time Kinesiologist to work in a busy private practice clinic. The successful applicant works well in a team environment and is able to handle a diverse caseload including MVA, WCB, AHS funded and private clients.

PRIMARY DUTIES

As a Kinesiologist, you will:


Treat Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), and private rehabilitation patients in a gym setting Work with an interdisciplinary team in matters regarding treatment, progression of treatment and management of the client Design and implement a therapeutic exercise program to meet the identified client needs Prepare progress and discharge reports delegated by the treating clinician Assist the treating clinician with return to work planning Ensure the gym area is presentable, organized and free of obvious safety hazards.

QUALIFICATIONS

To take on the role of Kinesiologist, you must:
Be a graduate of a University Kinesiology program Have excellent time management and organizational skills and the ability to work independently Be comfortable working collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team Have excellent oral and written communication skills All team members are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and provide proof of vaccination upon hire or provide a valid medical exemption Be empathetic with an effective ability to build rapport with patients Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel Be able to work both independently and as part of a team, and to facilitate our clients' needs by exceeding their goals
