through movement. Our new Kanata location will offer a

dynamic and engaging space

where young athletes can

progress in gymnastics skills

while having fun.

Job Summary

We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Gymnastics Coach

to join our team at our

brand-new Kanata location!

You will work with athletes aged

2-12 years

, focusing on

fundamental and advanced gymnastics skills

, proper technique, and injury prevention. The ideal candidate is energetic, reliable, and committed to creating a

positive learning environment

for young gymnasts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead engaging and structured gymnastics classes for different age groups and skill levels Develop lesson plans focusing on

strength, flexibility, and skill progression

Teach fundamental gymnastics skills, including

tumbling, bars, beam, and tumbletrak.

Ensure proper technique and

safety protocols

are followed at all times
Provide

encouragement, corrections, and individualized coaching

to each student
Assist in skill evaluations and progress tracking
Maintain a

positive, motivating atmosphere

in the gym
Communicate with parents about their child's progress and class updates
Assist in studio events, showcases, and camps when needed

Qualifications & Skills

Previous

gymnastics coaching experience

(minimum 1 year preferred)
Strong knowledge of

gymnastics skills, drills, and progressions

Background in

sports, physical education, or coaching

is an asset
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
Great with kids -

patient, fun, and energetic!

Ability to adapt lessons for different skill levels
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Gymnastics experience required!
