We are currently looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join our Reg. Marketing Customer Solutions team in a permanent position. Reporting to the Manager, Key Accounts, you will be responsible for building internal and external relationships with key account stakeholders and creating impactful business value for our customers.

As a Key Accounts Manager, you will:

  • As the ideal candidate, you possess a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree coupled with 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a progressive enterprise business consultative sales environment, with a successful track record in driving revenue growth.
  • We are seeking a high energy individual who can demonstrate the ability to think outside the box and act strategically.
  • You possess superior interpersonal skills, including presentation, influencing, negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • As a skilled relationship builder and impactful collaborator your role will be to build internal and external relationships with key account stakeholders, create impactful business value for our customers, identify opportunities for consistent market expansion, execute strategies, and lead focused efforts with clear results.

  • Ability to negotiate agreements and mutually beneficial resolutions to complex customer matters, keeping a focus on anticipating and delivering solutions aligned to the customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs while achieving the long-term growth requirements of the business.
  • You will be responsible for engaging and coordinating cross functionally with all internal Nova Scotia Power teams, including the Executive, to ensure proper alignment and delivery of your plans.
  • Identify, cultivate, and sell new and innovative solutions to key accounts through sales and business development activities and priorities.
  • Define, plan, and organize informational events and communications to key account customers to promote a clear understanding of Nova Scotia Power\xe2\x80\x99s business, its corporate objectives and the electricity industry as well as being an internal customer ambassador.
  • Prior experience selling within a B2B environment as well as channel management experience.
  • Exceptional communication, sales, prospecting, and time management skills required.
  • High energy and self-motivation with a strong desire to succeed and a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Proficiency with software applications such as Salesforce, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Prior Energy and/or Utility experience is a definite asset.
