We are seeking a compassionate and organized Kennel Attendant/Veterinary Receptionist to join our dedicated team. This role requires a love for animals, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism upon arrival.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding services, procedures, and pet care.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up-to-date.
Process payments and manage billing inquiries with attention to detail.
Assist veterinarians and technicians with administrative tasks as needed.
Handle laboratory samples and ensure proper documentation for testing.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and waiting room. LOTS OF CLEANING!
Educate clients on preventive care, services offered, and follow-up procedures.
Qualifications
VOA Certification a plus but not mandatory
Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal care facility is preferred but not required.
Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer systems for scheduling and record keeping.
Knowledge of laboratory procedures is advantageous but not mandatory.
A genuine passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing high-quality care.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
