As a member of the Nokia Infrastructure customer documentation team, you will develop clear, user-focused, customer-facing information products for next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.

What you will learn and contribute to

Are you passionate about solving problems? As part of our team, you will:

With limited guidance, develop clear and user-focused technical documentation for the installation, operation, maintenance, and management of Nokia\'s Network Infrastructure solutions. This includes creating content and graphics using authoring tools, graphics tools, Content Management Systems (CMS), and server-based production systems.

Understand business and customer needs and follow a defined information development process to meet those needs; assist in designing information products that conform to Nokia documentation and quality assurance standards.

In close collaboration with R&D, product line management (PLM), and other Nokia functional areas, gather any required source information through research and analysis of source materials; working with product prototypes and GUIs; testing and validating components; and interviewing subject matter experts (SMEs).

Modify information products in response to customer feedback and internal requests.

Assist with and follow documentation project plans and actively report contingencies in a timely manner.

Your skills and experience

You have:

A university-level bachelor\'s degree in Technical Communication, English, Journalism, or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience in technical writing or related fields

Excellent written and verbal English language skills, and solid technical writing and research skills to gather, share, and develop user-focused information as part of a global, diverse, and cross-cultural team

Strong organizational skills to manage competing priorities and willingness to contribute with creative, out-of-the box solutions to problmes arising in a dynamic environment, under high market pressure

It would be nice if you also had:

Basic telecommunications or data networking knowledge and ability to quickly acquire domain knowledge through training

Knowledge of FrameMaker+SGML, command line interface (CLI)

Basic understanding of XML authoring tools (such as oXygen) and content management systems (such as Git)

Desire to work with new hardware and software
