The P&H National Grain Asset Network comprises approximately 45 locations that span from coast to coast across Canada. Our facilities are strategically located to match producer grain with the needs of both domestic and export end users in terms of quantity, quality and logistical requirements. The P&H national grain asset network includes grain elevators, rail sidings, inland terminals, and specialized export terminals.

Your Role

As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be responsible for helping with the administration of full-cycle recruitment for roles at all levels throughout Eastern and Western Canada for our Grain division. In partnership with the Recruitment team, you will help execute a sound recruitment strategy to succeed in the recruitment & retention of quality talent. We need a team player who can keep pace with the company\xe2\x80\x99s growth trajectory.

Day to Day

• Coordinate with the Talent Acquisition Specialist, to execute the sourcing plan and activities to attract candidates.
• Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process and provide best in class candidate experience from the first contact to onboarding.
• Review resumes, phone screen and interview candidates, conduct reference checks, collect documentation, and schedule for orientation.
• Be an ambassador of our brand to improve our employer brand strategy around hiring and retention.
• Participate in candidate outreach initiatives, such as career fairs and networking events.
• Source both active and passive candidates with the intent on identifying, connecting, and recruiting the best talent.

• Completed post-secondary education in Human Resources or related field.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships.
• Strong ability and experience to prioritize work based on requirements of multiple stakeholders.
