Atlantic Packaging is seeking a Junior Recycling Clerk for the Paper Mills furnish procurement division located in Scarborough. The main purpose of this role is to aid in the clerical, logistical, and processing functions. This role will report to the Furnish Procurement Manager (Paper Mills) and will also work closely with Assistant Manager of flow control, Recycling Coordinator, Accounts Payable, Gatehouse Personnel, and lastly the Transportation Department.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Issue release numbers as required.
  • Book delivery appointments as required.
  • Control change of delivery location by assigning proper mill code and maintaining daily in yard status report.
  • Answer general inquiries about recycling.
  • Work with transportation to source/record freight rates, and code freight invoices.
  • Process freight invoices from carriers. Prepare chargebacks for freight invoices as required.
  • Faxing, e-mailing of scale tickets, rejection/downgrade notifications, price advisories, memos/letters, outstanding load reports, spreadsheets recording rates/shipping points and/or warehouse activity, as well as other misc. information.
  • Prepare CCI\xe2\x80\x99s and fax/e-mail to dispatchers.
  • Practice continuous improvement and review/update ISO procedures as they apply.
  • Creating and maintain various report for statistical, and quality purposes.
  • Other duties as instructed by manager.

Hours: 9 am \xe2\x80\x93 5 pm, Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri.
