Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Junior Project Manager

to join our dynamic team. This role will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects across various departments, leveraging both

Agile

(Scrum) and

Waterfall

methodologies. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with foundational project management skills, proficiency in

Jira

and

Confluence

, and the ability to operate effectively in a bilingual environment (English and French).

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget. Support both Agile and Waterfall project environments, adapting to the needs of each initiative. Participate in and facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews. Create and maintain project documentation, timelines, and reports using Confluence and Jira. Track project milestones, deliverables, risks, and issues, escalating when necessary. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including development, QA, design, and business stakeholders. Ensure clear communication between teams, contributing to the overall transparency and success of each project. Prepare and deliver internal updates and client-facing progress reports as needed.

Required Qualifications:

1-3 years of experience in project coordination or junior project management role. Familiarity with both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies. Experience using Jira and Confluence in a professional setting. Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

:

Bilingual - Fluent in English and [French/Spanish/Other]; strong asset for global team collaboration. Certification in project management (CAPM, Agile, Scrum Master, etc.) is a plus. Experience working in tech, software development, or digital transformation projects.
