Our Social Infrastructure - Health team is expanding and in need of a Junior Project Manager to join our group in Ontario with the ability to work from our, Waterloo, Whitby, Markham, Toronto, or Mississauga office locations.Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

• Collaborate with the various Business Groups and Service Lines required to deliver GHD services to healthcare clients.
• Build strong positive partnerships while working in highly collaborative globally integrated teams of Project Managers, Engineers, Scientists, and others to identify, design and achieve innovative solutions.
• Assist Project Managers with project delivery, monitoring project finances and deliverable development.
• Assist in the develop project scope and oversee project execution to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.
• Support Intermediate and Senior Project Manager's in developing client relationships and managing a portfolio of projects, while working alongside clients to identify valuable service offerings which GHD can provide.
• Assist with proposal development including the preparation of project scope and budget.
• Develop internal relationships within the GHD network (including GHD's Business Advisory, ESG, and Future's teams) to identify additional innovative service offerings that can be communicated to healthcare clients.
• Perform contractor/construction oversight (including construction contract administration), data collection, testing, sampling, and document field observations.

What you will bring to the team:

• 3+ years of healthcare project participation in procurement or design or major capital projects
• Post-secondary education in Engineering, Construction Management, Health-sciences or equivalent.
• PMP designation would be considered an asset.
• Understanding and involvement in public sector procurement an asset.
• Strong communication (oral and written), interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Build and maintain exceptional client relationships.
• Strong analytical skills with sound technical judgment.
• Proven high ethical standards with a dedication to producing high quality work.
• Self-motivated, flexible, great teammate, willing to work on a wide variety of tasks with minimal direction.
• Work will consist of office (2 days per week) and on-site work; ability to travel to client site as needed.
