We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager to join our team. Responsibilities
Build and update Trinity Energy Group Project Schedules to align with General Contractor's Schedule.
Assist with the growth and development of the company.
Ensure Projects are delivered on time and budget.
Ensure Projects are completed as per design.
Work with the Safety Manager to create and implement the project specific safety plan and safe work procedures required for Projects.
Create and implement the project specific quality plan, participate and help resolve quality items or issues.
Maintain submittal and RFI logs, along with processing both submittals and RFIs.
Build and maintain workforce, material and equipment forecasts.
Build and maintain cashflow and billing projections.
Ability to understand, enforce and communicate the Prime Contract and the General Contractor's Subcontract.
Negotiate and issue Subcontracts and Major Purchase Orders to Suppliers and Subcontractors.
Order Material for site.
Review and provide prompt pricing on Site Instructions, Contemplated Change Notices/Orders and Change Directives.
Document Control and ensuring drawings are up to date.
Coordinating with the site team and being the liaison between the General Contractor and the Trinity Energy Group site team.
Ensuring the site team provides productivity tracking for work completed on site on a routine basis.
Builds and maintains positive relationships with Trinity teams, clients and General Contractors.
Provides owners with value engineered solutions for constructability, cost and schedule benefit.
Coordinate and participate in Project closeout.
Participate in internal and external team meetings.
Help train and provide oversight to Project Coordinators tasks.
Other tasks related to delivery of successful projects.
Job Requirements
3+ years of experience in Project Management of $550k+ Construction Projects.
Experience with Procore , Field wire or ERP programs are considered a asset.
Financial acumen required.
Fast learner and ability to resolve complex issues.
Ability to work in a team and individually.
Strong written and oral communications.
Strong understanding of Construction Contract Documents (drawings & specifications, etc.), practices and processes.
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in engineering or Construction Management is preferred.
Strong leadership, organizational and time management skills.
Valid license with driver's abstract.
