is seeking a
Junior Project Manager
to support the delivery of large-scale institutional, commercial, and industrial projects. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside seasoned professionals on
high-impact projects
across Hamilton and surrounding areas.
At IMC, we believe strong projects are built by strong teams. As a Junior Project Manager, you'll play a key supporting role in planning, coordination, and execution, gaining valuable experience while contributing to meaningful work.
Responsibilities
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents in overseeing project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
Help track project progress, identify risks or delays, and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
Support the preparation of billings, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and meeting minutes.
Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
Attend project meetings and assist in maintaining clear and accurate communication with all stakeholders.
Ensure project documentation and compliance align with drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Participate in tendering and procurement processes alongside the estimating team.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
Post Secondary education in architectural technology, engineering or equivalent
5+ Years Project Coordinator/Assistant Project Manager experience, in the ICI sector
Good knowledge of construction scopes and activities, scheduling and project management software.
Familiarity with construction project lifecycles and basic understanding of ICI sectors.
Have a good understanding of construction contracts, in particular CCDC documents.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Enthusiasm to learn, take initiative, and grow in a supportive team environment.
Experienced with construction software - Procore and Bluebeam.
Willingness to work from our
Hamilton office
and visit project sites as required.
