Role & Responsibilities





As a Junior Project Manager working out of our head office in Belleville, you will manage a range of activities--including engineering & design logistics, budgets, schedules, procurement, installation, commissioning and warranty--to ensure smooth, seamless project execution.



Your strong attention to detail and expert organizational abilities will have a significant and visible effect on the success of projects. You will act as the primary point of contact, managing all communications between the client and the company, ensuring seamless and effective customer interactions. The ideal candidate will take full ownership and provide valuable leadership for every member of the project team.

Here are some of the things you'll be working on




Support the project team in understanding the scope of work and assist in developing plans for the delivery of engineering, design, procurement, logistics, installation and commissioning activities. Assist in monitor project budgets ensuring alignment with budget allotments. Collaborate with managers to help manage to help manage project execution according to schedule, scope, cost, and quality standards. Contribute to the preparation of project reports and updates for senior management. Help identify and track project risks and opportunities. Coordinate customer communications, including design reviews, deliverables, invoicing, site support, and progress updates, under the guidance of senior team members. Liaise with suppliers and clients, support negotiations that prioritize project budgets and timelines.



Qualifications




Diploma or University Degree in Engineering or other relevant field, or equivalent practical experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is a strong asset. 5+ years' industry experience, preferably in the fields of bulk materials handling, engineering, or a similar industry. Experience managing small to medium sized project budgets and negotiating supplier contracts. Knowledge in common Project Management software and applications, including budgeting, scheduling, etc. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Valid passport and ability to travel internationally.
