JOB OVERVIEW:



We are recruiting a

Junior Project Coordinator

to join our growing team on a full-time basis; the perfect candidate will be working from the XO HOMES INC. head office daily under the direction of the Director,
Planning & Design along with our other XO HOMES INC. team members or independently as needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in residential construction, is a highly motivated self-starter, is very organized, and has strong computer literacy.

JOB DESCRIPTION:



Reporting to the Director, Planning & Design the duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Work in collaboration with the XO HOMES INC. team where applicable in the day-to-day duties of the project's administration. Assist with collecting, verifying accuracy, organizing, and filing all subcontractor quotations as required Assist with obtaining updated quotations and price comparisons as requested by the customer Assist with the communication between the client, trades, suppliers and internal staff Assist with the preparation of communication with all customers through DocuSign, Submittals, Project Memo's, Selection Approvals, Signed Addendums, Project Changes, and Change Orders when needed Assist the XO HOMES INC. team to acquire home selection and structural information Home selections and structural information to be organized, tracked, and inputted into Customer
Selection Schedule

Coordination with client, designers, suppliers, and site staff ensuring construction materials are being ordered as needed Assist with estimate documentation for Management Approval Comparison between quotes vs submitted invoices along with invoice approval Assist with ensuring that site personnel have access to up-to-date project documents Assist with the creation of each project specific binder Monitor status of warranty claims and status Assist with the communication, coordination, and tracking of all warranty items Attend weekly meetings as required Identify and solve problems quickly - either directly or properly delegated. Maintain positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees. Be a driving force within the company to create and implement new processes within the department

EXPERIENCE:



1+ years' experience in residential or commercial construction In-office administrative work Read and interpret blueprints and drawings Comprehensive understanding of customer service, principles and practices. Ability to work within a team or independently as needed. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction for clients. Excellent computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new software

Schedule:

Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
