Qualifications:


Essential:




Post-secondary education in business administration, economics, actuarial science, or a related discipline. A combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Experience interpreting and applying legislation, policies, or regulatory frameworks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within tight deadlines. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly to diverse audiences. Proficiency in organizing and maintaining records and data systems.

Desired:


Experience with pension plan administrative matters for defined contribution or defined benefit pension plans.

Duties:


As a Junior Pension Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the administration and enforcement of The Pension Benefits Act and Regulations. Reporting to the Superintendent of Pensions, you will assist in monitoring Manitoba registered pension plans for compliance with legislation by reviewing regulatory filings, including pension plan texts and amendments. You will also be responsible for responding to verbal and written inquiries from stakeholders and performing administrative tasks that support the Office of the Superintendent - Pension Commission's Day to day operations.
