Junior Marketing Coordinator

Job Description

The Junior Marketing Coordinator will join a team tasked with annual and term targets to be achieved through strategic recruiting and marketing initiatives. The incumbent will contribute to the team by analyzing statistics and trends, gathering feedback from students, clients, and employers, and providing monthly and quarterly reports.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, the Junior Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for optimizing Le Cordon Bleu's online presence, including the creation of material for social media posts (photographs and videos), web content, and email marketing. The incumbent will support the Marketing Department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and tracking of marketing campaigns.

The Junior Marketing Coordinator will also be responsible for coordinating promotional events, internal events, and industry partner events.

This position requires excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and organizational and planning skills. The individual needs to be self-starting, action-oriented, and capable of seeing tasks through to completion.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:



1. Web Content & Marketing


- Manage content on the LCB Ottawa website, the LCB North America website, and Signatures Restaurant website.
- Draft and distribute news articles, newsletters, and email blasts.

2. Marketing


- Develop, create, and design marketing material for digital and print.
- Coordinate web marketing, promotion, and advertising of all Le Cordon Bleu event opportunities.
- Assist in the development and application of marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Regularly report and continuously monitor all campaigns.
- Social media posting and monitoring through Meta and platforms like Sprout Social.
- Provide monthly and quarterly analysis of marketing campaigns and suggested improvements.
- Ongoing photography and video shooting to provide material needed to create social media posts and web content for Meta, LinkedIn, X and TikTok platforms.
- Develop and execute online customer surveys and reporting.

3. Event Coordination & Attendance


- Coordinate promotional events and industry partner events.
- Coordinate internal events, including orientations, graduations, and student events (hours may be required on evenings and Saturdays on occasion)

4. Other related duties as assigned by management.

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
