was founded in 1897 by William Bermingham, who was succeeded by three further generations at the helm before the company was purchased by Soletanche Bachy Canada.

The company started by building the foundation of Canada's infrastructure and has continued that role for 123 years. Always innovative, we brought the first diesel impact hammer to North America in the early 1950's and started developing our own line of foundation specialty equipment in the late 1960's. The Berminghammer trade name has become synonymous with leading edge technology around the world.

We currently develop and build custom equipment for the deep foundation construction market. With full product range of equipment including crane mounted lead systems, reverse circulation rock drills and diesel pile driving hammers, we work with top contractors on exciting projects around the world.

Berminghammer Foundation Equipment (SB Canada) is currently seeking:

Junior Machinist/ Labourer

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the Machine Shop staff to ensure continuous flow of work. Working under minimal supervision. Locating and retrieving required materials to be machined. Operating overhead cranes and forklifts. Cutting material on bandsaw. Deburring, cleaning and labelling finished parts and raw materials. Performing various machining tasks on manual lathes and mills. Running parts set up on CNC mills and lathes Using a variety of measuring tool to ensure parts conform with engineered drawings. Moving finished parts to other departments Lifting up to 50lbs Cleaning and maintaining the organization of the machine shop. Ensuring that safety procedures are always followed. Ensuring a constant awareness of safety and quality.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications

:

Completion of the Ontario General Machinist 429A Certification (or equivalent). Graduates and registered apprentices will be given priority consideration. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, with the ability to understand and troubleshoot. Strong problem?solving skills, with the ability to assess issues and determine effective solutions in a fast?paced environment. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to manage tasks and work efficiently with minimal supervision. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality. Experience in machining, manufacturing, or industrial environments is considered a strong asset. Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
