JOB DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Hydraulic Technician Lead, the Junior Hydraulic Technician is responsible for assisting with the installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of hydraulic systems and related equipment used in drilling and well servicing applications.

The successful candidate will be mechanically inclined, have a basic technical knowledge, demonstrate a willingness to learn, and a commitment to safety and quality.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Assist in the assembly, calibration, and repair of hydraulic instrumentation systems. Perform routine calibrations and tests on customer supplied equipment under the guidance of senior technicians, ensuring optimal performance and safety. Collaborate with other departments and team members to learn and apply solutions to problems. Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including service reports, inventory logs, and maintenance schedules. Assist more senior staff in troubleshooting hydraulic instrumentation system issues.

WHAT DO I NEED TO SUCCEED?

Technical training in calibration. High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in a shop environment would be considered an asset. Adept with tools and machinery. Quick problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Attention to detail and ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
