Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Drafter to join our design team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and schematics for various construction and engineering projects. This role offers an opportunity to work with cutting-edge CAD software and contribute to innovative projects across multiple industries. The Drafter will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and project managers to develop accurate representations that meet project specifications and standards.

Duties

Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and Revit. Prepare schematics, layouts, and construction documents in accordance with project requirements. Create accurate models and visualizations, including 2D animations when necessary. Review design concepts and modify drawings based on feedback from engineers and architects. Ensure all drawings adhere to industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications. Collaborate with project teams to coordinate design efforts across disciplines. Assist in the development of construction documentation and technical reports. Maintain organized digital files of all drawings and revisions for easy access and version control.

Requirements

Proficiency in Revit (mandatory) Experience in residential design/drafting Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently while being a team player Knowledge of BC building codes is a plus

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
