ABOUT THE POSITION



We are looking for a motivated

Junior Controls Engineer

who wants to start their career in automation and water systems. You'll work with experienced engineers and project managers to design, program, and support control systems that keep water moving efficiently and sustainably.

In this role you will:



Assist with PLC and HMI programming for pump and treatment systems. Support development of control strategies, wiring diagrams, and documentation. Help troubleshoot and test systems during setup and commissioning. Work with sales and operations teams to deliver complete solutions. Learn industry standards and best practices in water treatment automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:



Required:



0-3 years of experience (co-op, internship, or entry-level role in automation/controls). Familiarity with PLC/HMI programming (Schneider, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar). Exposure to instrumentation, motor controls, or SCADA systems. Strong problem-solving ability and willingness to learn. Good communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred:



Diploma or degree in Electrical, Controls, Mechatronics, or related engineering field. Knowledge of water or wastewater treatment systems (coursework or project experience welcome). Interest in sustainability and real-world problem solving.
