Reporting to the Vice President, Finance and Operations, this hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to building and scaling the company's finance and accounting function. The Junior Controller will support day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and process improvement initiatives, playing a key role in strengthening the company's financial infrastructure and supporting continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and perform day-to-day accounts receivable and accounts payable activities, including invoice coding, payment runs, cash application, chargebacks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end close and contribute to the preparation of accurate financial reporting. Participate in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare variance analyses and supporting commentary for monthly financial reports. Provide ad hoc financial analyses to support management and strategic decision-making. Support cash management activities and working capital optimization initiatives. Produce reports to support performance monitoring and decision-making. Implement and strengthen internal controls to ensure data integrity, safeguard assets, and support reliable financial reporting. Contribute to the implementation, optimization, and effective use of financial systems and technology tools Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in support of the company's growth and evolving business needs.
Requirements

CPA designation is an asset. Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Momentis or other ERP is an asset. Fluency in English (written and spoken).
