Junior Bridge Designer

Your work environment at EXP

In this role, you will be a part of the Building Science team, based in Markham, ON office.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Assist in the preparation of contract documents for projects
• Assist with design of steel, concrete, and wood structures
• Work with other engineers collaboratively
• Participate in design meetings with owner and other consultants
• Participate in construction site meetings
• Conduct site visits during construction to review work for general compliance to structural drawings and contract document

What your experience looks like

• Degree in Structural Engineering from a recognized University
• 0 to 3 years' experience in structural engineering such as structural steel, concrete, masonry, and wood design relating to foundations, buildings and other structures
• Knowledge of structural analysis software
• Proficient with MS Office software
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
