JOB DESCRIPTION

As the Junior Bookkeeper, you will assist the accounting team with day-to-day financial operations, including data entry, maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable entries. Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. Assist with preparing invoices, receipts, and payments. Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audits. Support payroll processing and expense reporting as needed. Help prepare financial reports such as balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and relevant regulations. Assist accounting team with month-end and year-end closing tasks. Perform other administrative and financial tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or currently pursuing). 0-2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a similar role. Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar) and Microsoft Excel. Knowledge of Acumatica is preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
