Junior Administrative Assistant
.

The
Junior Administrative Assistant will report to the Senior Vice President.
In this position, you will work closely with the entire Senior Management Team to provide administrative support.
Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Provide administrative support to the Senior Vice President, President, and Vice President of Business Development.
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Screen and direct incoming communications, including phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
Prepare agendas, attend meetings, take and distribute meeting minutes.
Prepare reports and presentations.
Attend tradeshows and other company or industry related events - coordinate and bring supplies, set-up and dismantle items, and deliver presentations as required.
Assist with projects and research.
Handle business-related errands and tasks as required.
Relief reception, data-entry, and filing.
Other duties as required.
Required Competencies and Attributes:
A minimum of one (1) year experience as Junior Administrative Assistant, or Junior Executive Assistant.
Highly versed with MS office (including Power Point).
Outstanding written and oral communication, in English.
Superb organizational and administrative skills, along with a keen focus and attention to detail.
Established time management skills that demonstrate the ability to maintain balance among multiple priorities and personnel.
Confidently present materials at industry meetings and events.
Ability to manage and maintain confidential information.
Able to work in a team or independently.
Must have a valid G driver's license, with a clean driving abstract, and a reliable vehicle.
Must be able to pass any client required security screenings or police background checks.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Construction administration knowledge is a highly regarded asset.
Willing to work closely with diverse teams and adapt to various roles to build relationships with fellow Team members and business partners.
Able to adapt quickly, prioritize tasks, and remain calm under pressure.
Work Location:
This is an in-office position working from our Head Office in Burlington, Ontario.
Working Conditions:
This position will require occasional evening or weekend work; therefore, the candidate's schedule must be flexible.
Some travel may be required depending on business needs and the executive's schedule(s).
