Job Description


The Talent Acquisition Sourcer role is an integral member of the Talent Acquisition team to drive best in class hiring decisions.

The successful candidate will be able to develop strong relationships with the Talent Acquisition Team and various lines of business to address current and future hiring needs. This individual will simultaneously develops sourcing strategies, create target lists of companies, candidates, prospects and leads for both current and future openings. They will also be responsible for planning and executing the candidate sourcing process for assigned employee groups and others as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and communicate the qualifications, strengths and interests of the prospects and candidates to the Talent Acquisition (TA) team members
  • Proactively inform TA on progress and recommendations on sourcing strategies
  • Fully leverage online social resources such as LinkedIn, Networking Groups and Communities to generate lead, identify and continuously engage with leads, referrals and other potential prospects
  • Share industry insights with the TA team on current employment market conditions
  • Effectively build a pipeline of candidates for dedicated roles as well as adhoc roles within the requisition roster
  • Being the brand ambassador for the TA team and overall organization. Sharing our talent brand with all candidates to generate employment desirability for our various business units.
  • Responsible for the generation of candidates and interviewing and selection for our \xe2\x80\x9cResidency\xe2\x80\x9d program.
  • Leading & Attending the Campus events
  • Driving the lead generation for our hard to hire profiles
A day in the life of a Sourcer:
  • Source, screen and provide the Talent Acquisition team member short listed and/or pipelined candidate with a resume, profile and notes highlighting the qualifications of the individual
  • Proactively engage in prospects (referrals, LI leads, LI direct) that come to use and prequalify them, add them to the pipeline log for future placement
  • Accountable for the residency pool of candidates that apply to the role, manage the Spark video interviews and administer the media tests
  • Administer the media tests to all entry level roles
  • Participate in intake meetings for any challenging / confidential roles
  • Maintain the internal postings via company hot jobs for IPG Mediabrands, LinkedIn Job Postings
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources Management, or equivalent education and work experience
  • 1+ years\' experience sourcing for a wide variety of roles in a high-volume environment
  • Previous experience in the advertising/media, communication, digital/technology or related industries valued but not required
  • Social media savvy, with experience using various social media applications to communicate with and source potential candidates
  • Professional technical skills, including the use of applicant-tracking systems and MS Office

  • Ability to flex workstyles from working independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to establish trust and credibility with both internal and external partners
