About Siwon Management

Siwon Management Inc. is the proud operator of a growing network of franchise coffee shops, Daycare, Healthcare, Retail businesses in BC and Alberta. As we expand our services to provide full back-office management covering accounting, payroll, and day-to-day operations for our stores, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support this growth. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a multi-unit, service-based business environment.

Duties

Maintain financial records for multiple franchise locations Record day-to-day financial transactions (sales, expenses, inventory adjustments) Process and reconcile accounts payable and receivable Prepare payroll and ensure compliance with provincial legislation Assist with monthly and year-end financial closings Reconcile bank statements and point-of-sale reports from store locations Generate regular financial reports and assist in performance analysis Support with budget preparation and cash flow tracking Ensure compliance with franchise and CRA accounting standards Provide general support for store operations as needed (e.g., inventory reporting, supplier payments)

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 1-2 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (multi-location business experience is an asset) Experience with payroll processing is a strong advantage Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or similar) Prior experience in the coffee or franchise industry is considered an asset.
Skills & Abilities

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP) Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Workspace Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks across different business units Good communication and interpersonal skills Trustworthy with confidential information
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
