We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in various accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, bookkeeping, and financial reporting. Duties

Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections. Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation to maintain accurate financial records. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring compliance with corporate finance standards. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, Sage, and other tools for bookkeeping and financial analysis. Support the auditing process by providing necessary documentation and assisting auditors as required. Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement in financial processes. Participate in budgeting activities to help forecast future financial performance. Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, PeopleSoft, or Sage is highly desirable. Knowledge of corporate finance principles and practices is a plus. Familiarity with bookkeeping procedures and financial services operations. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis and reconciliation. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
