Job Description

We are looking for a tech-savvy Junior Accountant who will be an essential part of our finance team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: account reconciliations, financial reporting, accounts payable and other miscellaneous tasks as required.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Responsibilities

:

Monthly bank account reconciliations for multiple companies Month-end reports production Development of process of reporting with fellow Junior Accountant, Accounting Manager and CFO Other miscellaneous reporting and projects as required Bookkeeping and bill payments

Skills & Qualifications:

0-1 year of work experience, co-op

Degree from a Business related program - New grads are welcome!

Must be experienced in and comfortable using Microsoft Excel

QuickBooks experience would be an asset but not mandatory Reconciliation experience would be an asset but not mandatory Excellent communication and problem solving skills Ability to remain calm under pressure while handling multiple and competing priorities Detail oriented and organized, with strong time management skills Able to maintain confidentiality Self-motivated and able to take initiative without being asked
