Now we're looking for a passionate and organized Jr. Sous Chef to join our team at the Railside Commissary -- the heart of Summerhill Market's prepared food operations.

What you'll do

Support the Sous Chef and Executive Chef in overseeing daily production of prepared foods Supervise line cooks and prep staff to ensure consistent quality and timely execution Assist with ordering, inventory, and production planning Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment Participate in menu development, recipe testing, and seasonal innovation Train and support team members to build skill and efficiency across all kitchen areas Collaborate with commissary leadership to meet store and catering demands

What we're looking for

Culinary diploma or equivalent professional experience 2+ years of experience in a commercial kitchen, ideally in a leadership or supervisory role Strong knowledge of food preparation, portioning, and safety standards Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills A creative mindset with an eye for presentation and detail Ability to work in a high-volume production environment Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
