Job Description
With safety as your core value, you will focus on high quality results and provide monitoring and clear direction/designs to ensure that ventilation targets are met, and production mining targets are achieved.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements of the position:
- Bachelor\'s degree in mine (or related) engineering
- Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS)
- Strong communication, planning and organizational skills
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft
- Previous experience in an underground mining environment
- Mine ventilation experience
- Underground mine design and production blast hole stope design experience
Preference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan\'s North.

Safety Sensitive Site
The McArthur River operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.
