is excited to announce we are seeking a

Journeyperson/Red Seal Welder

to support our growing needs on site and in the shop!

These positions are on a

14-day rotation, working 12-hour shifts. Travel for non-local hires is 100% reimbursed in the form of flights or fuel

, and all provided accommodations are professionally cleaned and fully furnished, including a full kitchen with dishes and appliances, tv, cable, a washer/dryer, Wi-Fi. Transportation to and from work is also provided!

Responsibilities:

Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and welding process specifications Work with a variety of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel Use appropriate hand and power tools Operate manual welding equipment to fuse metals using TIG, MIG, Fluxcore and Stick processes Use grinder to smooth out, weld, or grind parts prior to welding Position and clamp work pieces together or assemble them using a jig Layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking Operate hoisting and lifting equipment Follow detailed installation instructions Work flexible hours when projects call for it

Required Qualifications:

Journeyman/Red Seal Welder and CWB certified

MUST BE local

to Fort McMurray and have your

own form of transportation to and from work.

Commercial construction job site experience Shop experience including fabrication Knowledge of construction welding techniques Fitting and welding experience Ability to read shop drawings and blueprints Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
